On November 28, the Panzhou to Xingyi High-speed Railway (hereinafter referred to as the Panxing High-speed Railway) opened for operation.

The Panxing High-speed Railway is located in the southwestern part of Guizhou Province, starting from Panzhou Station in Panzhou City, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, and ending at Xingyi South Station in Xingyi City, Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, with a total length of 99 kilometers and a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. There are three stations on the entire line: Panzhou, Baotian, and Xingyi South. Baotian and Xingyi South are newly built stations, while Panzhou Station is renovated and expanded.

After the completion and operation of the Panxing High-speed Railway, the highest speed will be operated at 250 kilometers per hour. In the initial stage of operation, seven pairs of EMU trains will be operated daily, all of which are cross-line EMU trains. The travel time to Xingyi South Station from Guiyang North, Tongren, Chongqing West, and Chengdu South Stations is the fastest at 2 hours 1 minute, 3 hours 54 minutes, 4 hours 29 minutes, and 6 hours 26 minutes respectively.
