Beijing Tongzhou Station Begins Operations

At 10:00 a.m. on the morning of December 30, as a Fuxing bullet train on the Beijing–Tangshan intercity railway carrying 448 passengers departed the platform on time, Beijing Tongzhou Station—located within the comprehensive transportation hub of Beijing’s sub-center—officially began operations, and the Beijing–Tangshan intercity railway achieved full-line connectivity.

The newly built Beijing Tongzhou Station is located within the comprehensive transportation hub of Beijing’s sub-center. The already opened Beijing–Tangshan yard has a total of 7 arrival/departure tracks and 7 passenger platforms. The station has 3 underground levels.
