On September 28, 2025, the initial phase of the Xuzhou Metro Line 6 opened for initial operations. The first phase of Line 6 is approximately 22.9 kilometers long and consists of 16 stations, all of which are underground.
Among them, there are 3 transfer stations. The line allows transfers at Xuzhou East Station with Line 1, Administrative Center Station with Line 2, and Yuquan River Station with Line 3. The train uses 4-car B-type trains and can reach a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour. This line is also Xuzhou Metro's first line to operate with GoA4 level full automation.
