The Opening of the Shenyang Metro Line 1 East Extension

At 9:20 30th June,2025. The Shenyang Metro Line 1 East Extension commenced its initial operations. The East Extension of Line 1 spans 16 kilometres and includes 10 stations. From west to east, the stations are: Xinhui Street Station, Xinning Street Station, Dongdaying Street Station, Agricultural University Station, Qianling Station, Dongling Park Station, Shuquan Station, Boguannorth Street Station, Botanical Garden Station, and Shuangma Station. Once opened, the line will operate in conjunction with the existing Metro Line 1, adopting a "large and small loop" operation model. The large loop runs from Shisanhao Street Station to Shuangma Station, while the small loop runs from Shisanhao Street Station to Dongdaying Street Station. Trains on both loops will alternate in a 1:1 ratio.
